Twinning experts preparing guidelines

In the period from 4 July to 8 July 2016  activities 1.4, 2.4, 3.4 were carried out pertaining to the preparation of guidelines for the organization and implementation of the national screening programmes for breast cancer, colon cancer and cervical cancer. Experts from Slovenia and Lithuania were preparing guidelines based on the European guidelines of quality assurance in cancer screening. Twinning experts discussed the topics and issues with experts from the beneficiary country. The topics were, among other things, screening delivery, reporting of screening test and pathological findings results, follow-up of people with positive tests, registration, documentation, monitoring and evaluation of screenig programmes.

Upon completion of these activities, the work on components 1, 2 and 3 is finalized.
