Steering Committee Meeting 3

On 21 December 2016, the third Steering Committee Meeting of the Twinning project “Improvement of Quality of the National Cancer Screening Programmes Implementation” took place in the Croatian Institute of Public Health.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the activities undertaken during the third quarter of the project implementation covering the period from 2 September to 1 December 2016, and to develop a work plan for the following quarter.

Ms. Dinka Nakić, BC Project Leader, opened the PSC meeting of the Twinning Project and welcomed colleagues from Lithuania, CFCA, Ministry of Health, Croatian Institute of Public Health and Ministry of Regional Development. Ms. Nakić expressed satisfaction with the study visit of Croatian experts to Lithuania, and the successful completion of training of trainers.

The Resident Twinning Advisor g. Giedrius Vanagas presented the information on the activities performed during this reporting period. The RTA reported that the project activities during this period were carried out according to plan.

Mr. Vanagas announced activities from Component 4, i.e. workshops in January (Zagreb and Split) and in February (Rijeka and Osijek). Activity 4.5 pertains to workshops in Zagreb and Split in February and Rijeka and Osijek in March. Final activity is 5.5 which is screening registry update organised by the external contract.

G. Vanagas expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with BC institutions: CIPH, MoH and CFCA.
